Drive with Oscar is run by Oscar, an independent CDL-A driver recruiter who works with several trucking companies across the US. This page explains what information Oscar collects when you apply through this website, what he does with it, who he shares it with, and your choices.
What we collect
- Information you enter in the form: your name, phone number, email, home state and ZIP, CDL-A experience, which program interests you, current status, availability, and preferred contact method.
- Optional answers, if you choose to give them: preferred weeks out, target take-home, no-go zones, schedule, current or previous carrier, weekly miles, accident and violation history, document status (CDL Class A, DOT medical card) and any notes.
- Your contact consent: whether you agreed to calls, texts and WhatsApp messages, the exact wording you agreed to, and when.
- Source and tracking data: how you reached this page, such as ad campaign tags (UTM parameters, gclid, fbclid), the referring website, the page address, and your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop).
We never ask for your Social Security number, date of birth or CDL number on this website.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about your application and about CDL-A driving jobs that match your experience and preferences.
- To pass your application to trucking companies that may hire you.
- To keep proof of your contact consent.
- To understand which ads and job posts bring in applications.
Who we share it with
- Trucking companies: Oscar shares your application details with the trucking companies (carriers) he recruits for, so they can consider you for their jobs. Which carrier depends on the job you're matched with. When a carrier processes your application, it will give you its own company details and privacy notice.
- Service providers that help us run this website and contact you: Google (stores applications in Google Sheets and sends Oscar email alerts), Netlify (hosts this website), phone and messaging providers that deliver calls and texts, and Meta if you message on WhatsApp.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Inside Drive with Oscar, only Oscar and one assistant can see your application.
How long we keep it
We keep your application for up to 5 years after our last contact with you, so Oscar can reach out when a matching job opens up. Ask us at any time and we'll delete it sooner. We keep the record of your contact consent (the wording, the date and your phone number) for 4 years, so we can show what you agreed to.
Messaging Terms: calls, texts and WhatsApp
- What you get: if you checked the consent box on the application form, Oscar may contact you by phone call, text message and WhatsApp about your application and about driving jobs. This can include autodialed calls and texts and calls using a prerecorded, artificial or AI-generated voice.
- Optional: consent is not required to apply. Without it, Oscar will only contact you by email and by calls he dials himself.
- How often: message frequency varies.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any text or WhatsApp message. QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT-OUT, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE also work. You can also call +1 (464) 249-3254 or email oskaras.baronas@outlook.com and say you want to stop. We may send one final message to confirm.

- Your mobile number: we do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We share it only with service providers, such as messaging platforms and phone carriers, that help us deliver messages.
- Phone carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live, for example in California, these may be legal rights. We won't treat you differently for asking.
